Our Eggshell paint finish is noticeably glossier and less Matt then our Matt finish. It’s reflective, but super pigmented so you still get that pop of colour.
This finish is super durable, so you can use it in rooms with lots of ‘traffic’, or interior areas with moisture present without worrying about any fading, staining, etc. It can be scrubbed multiple times whilst maintaining its lustre. An Eggshell finish provides a hard-wearing, scrubbable and high-pigment finish to weather scuffs and scrapes for years to come.
We would recommend Eggshell for bathrooms, kitchens, woodwork, high traffic areas and anywhere you might have to wipe down often. It’s also great for spaces where you want to maximise the light, as it’ll bounce around the sunshine thanks to its 20% sheen.
Our Eggshell paint can be used on a multitude of surfaces including laminate, woodwork and metal but it’s important to prepare the surface in advance to maximise the long-lasting finish. Be sure to adhere to the right prep according to which surface you are painting on to. For laminate, raw wood and metal surfaces we recommend you sand thoroughly, use a primer and then paint. For woodwork you should ensure you sand thoroughly.
